Cancellations, Rescheduling & Arrival Times

We understand that life happens and plans change! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations with 12+ Hours Notice: Feel free to cancel or reschedule.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 12 hours of your appointment, You will be invoiced a $29 late cancellation fee. For fixed-price packages, you will be refunded the full amount minus a $29 late fee to cover the reserved time. If you wish to reschedule within the 12hr cutoff due to an unforseen emergency we are willing to help out however the following rescheduled appointment will not be eligable for cancellation without incuring the late cancellation fee.
  • Expected Arrival Times: Because we provide mobile, in-home support, local traffic or complex previous jobs can occasionally affect travel times. Please allow a 15 to 30-minute arrival window from your scheduled booking time. If we are running more than a few minutes behind, we will always call or text you with an update.
  • If We Need to Reschedule: As a local owner-operated business, rare unforeseen emergencies (illness, vehicle issues, etc.) may prevent us from making it to your appointment. If this occurs, we will contact you immediately to reschedule. If we cannot find a suitable new time, your payment will be refunded in full immediately.
"No Solution, No Charge" Guarantee

We want you to book with total peace of mind. Our "No Solution, No Charge" guarantee means that if our technician arrives and is completely unable to diagnose or resolve your technical problem, your upfront payment and deposit will be fully refunded.

What is considered a solution?
Please note that successfully diagnosing a hardware failure (e.g., a dead motherboard, RAM) or advising that a device is unrepairable and needs replacing is considered a completed diagnostic service, if there is still time remaining we will help with ordering the required part or advising on the replacement system. When the replacement item or new system arrives you can choose whether or not you call us back out for the repair/setup or another technician.

Payments & Billing Information

Payment on job completion. Payment on pickup for packaged services

  • In-Home Support: Our baseline service covers the first 30 minutes on premises for $70. If the service requires more time, it is charged in 15-minute blocks at $30 per block.
  • Fixed-Price Packages: Full upfront payment is required for our off-site workshop packages ($200, $270, or $330).
  • Parts & Software: Extra parts, hardware upgrades, or software licensing are not included in our base fees but can be provided by the client. If anything extra is needed, we will always provide a quote and get your approval before proceeding.
Data Safety & Service Liability

Your data safety is always our priority. However, working with failing hardware or infected software carries inherent risks.

  • Backups: We strongly recommend that you back up your important files, photos, and data before your appointment.
  • Liability: While we take the utmost care with your devices, NorthSide Computer Support is not liable for data loss that occurs due to pre-existing failing storage drives or severe malware infections.
  • Service Limits: We specialize in standard hardware replacements and software repairs. We do not perform advanced, clean-room data recovery or microscopic component/PCB trace repairs.
Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy as a customer in our local community.

  • We only collect the necessary information (Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, and Device Details) required to provide our in-home IT support services and process billing.
  • We will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
  • Any passwords or access credentials shared with us during a repair are kept strictly confidential and are only used for the duration of the requested service.
